लट् with non-nominative words (पद) have समानाधिकरण and शतृ, शानच् are in place of लट्. For example, in पचन्तं चैत्रं पश्य (चैत्र is द्वितीयान्त) and लट् has same अधिकरण as चैत्र. Thus शतृ results in place of लट्. पचता चैत्रेण कृतं.
nominative (प्रथमा) would always result in शतृ.
