सिच् after यम् - the verb used in the sense of गन्धन (insinuation) - is कित्. For example, उद् आङ् यम् सिच् त् - उद् आङ् य स् त् (कित् implies लोप of अनुनासिक ) - उदा य स् त (ह्रस्वादङ्गात् )- उदायत. अनुनासिक is not omitted when यम् is in the sense of pulling (other than insinuation).
