4.2.65 छन्दोब्राह्मणानि च तद्विषयाणि

प्रोक्त suffix ending वेद-indicating or ब्राह्मण-indicating words are तद्विषयक i.e. in the sense not related to that of the reader or the knower वेद-indicating and ब्राह्मण-indicating words are not used independently.
