When the function and the end are different, we have a सकर्मक verb. Note that लकार are 10 in number : लट् लिट् लुट् लृ ट् लेट् लोट् लङ् लिङ् लुङ् लृ ङ्. लिङ् लोट् are of आशीर् and विधि varieties.
