4.1.161 मनोर्जातावञ्यतौ षुक् च

In the context of class and in अपत्य sense, मनु leads to अञ् or यत् and a षुक् is implied for मनु. For example, मनोरपत्यं - मनु षुक् - मानुष and मनु षुक् यत् - मनुष्यः.
