Non-पित् लिट् suffixes that end with a संयोग are कित्-like. For example, in भिद् तस् (लिट्) - भिद् अतुस् - भिद् भिद् अतुस् (द्वित्व by परस्मैपदानां णलतुसुस्-) - भिभिद् अतुस् - बिभिद् अतुस् , गुण of लघूपध (penultimate vowel) of अतुस् i.e. उ is suppressed because of the current sutra.
