2.1.7 यथा असादृश्ये

In the यथा sense, all conditions excluding non-similarity (असादृश्य) lead to अव्ययीभाव status. For example, ये ये वृद्धाः यथावृद्धाः. With there is similarity, there is no यथा as in यथा देवदत्तः तथा यज्ञदत्तः (सादृश्य).
