2.1.9 सुप् प्रतिना मात्रार्थे

समर्थ सुबन्त with प्रति in the sense of "sparing" (मात्रा) is अव्ययीभाव. For example, शाकस्य लेशः शाकप्रति (tiny bit of spinach) but not otherwise e.g. न सुख प्रति संसारे  but सूपप्रति (tiny bit of सूप).
