3.1.13 लोहितादिडाज्भ्यः क्यष्

लोहित etc. words that are not व्चि-suffixed and डाच्-suffixed words (in sense of भू) are क्यष् (वा क्यषः may result in आत्मनेपद). For example, अलोहितो लोहितो भवति - लोहितायते.
